Note: Once the donation is received in the IIT Delhi a/c, the Accounts unit issues a receipt for the same. This is also affixed with a stamp indicating the Sections for exemption for the purpose of Income Tax. In case of donation routed through IITDEF, while the Institute issues the receipt for funds when they are received in Institute accounts, necessary Tax exemption documents are to be obtained from IITDEF.
